& Transport
Pamukkale is 22 km.
from Denizli city centre, 80 km from Denizli-Çardak airport, 223
km from Izmir Adnan Menderes airport, 230 km from Dalaman airport
and 255 km from Antalya airport.
The Denizli city bus
station and railway station are opposite each other and 22 km
from the hotel. There is minibus transport available from Denizli
bus station every half hour during the day (ask for the Pamukkale
bus and on boarding tell the driver you are going to the Richmond
Hotel). Taxis are available around the clock (also from the bus
station). We plan to have a conference desk at both Denizli Bus
Station and Denizli-Çardak Airport to assist you.
By Air
The closest airport
to Denizli is called Denizli-Çardak. There are twice daily flights
to/from Istanbul (Atatürk airport). A shuttle-bus service operated
by Turkish Airlines transports passengers to and from Denizli
city centre (for a small fee). Our conference desk in the airport
will assist you. We would suggest for international delegates
that the most convenient route is to fly into Istanbul (Atatürk
airport), then get a connecting flight with Turkish Airlines to
Denizli.
Otherwise, Izmir is
the best second choice of airport. A connecting bus to Denizli
from Izmir will take around three hours. A bus from Antalya will
take around four hours. There is normally no direct bus service
from Dalaman airport. If you plan to come to Dalaman Airport,
please let us know and we will enquire about bus connections available
at that time on your behalf.

Rail
Denizli is connected
by rail to Afyon, Izmir and Istanbul. However, we do not recommend
travelling by rail as the service is relatively uncomfortable,
slow and schedules are un-reliable. If you travel by rail, upon
arrival, cross the road to the bus station where you can find
a mini-bus service to Pamukkale and our conference desk. Details
above.
